Cellnetrix will exhibit at Hannover Messe 2016

Cellnetrix will participate this year in the world’s leading trade fair for Industrial Technologies, Hannover Messe 2016, and is pleased to invite all partners and customers to visit a joint booth of innovation cluster (Hall 3, Stand H06) on April 25^th-29^th.

This event is considered to be one of the most sizeable and significant trade shows in field of industrial high tech solutions. Topics, such as Industry 4.0, Internet of Things and renewable energy sources, which are just as important in other countries as they are in Germany, stand at the top of the agenda at Global Business & Markets.

Since number of connected devices and connections will grow rapidly over next few year, IT-Security problems for Machine-to-Machine and IoT-systems are becoming critical to ensure stable growth and stability of such systems.

Cellnetrix as an expert in smart card technologies proposes a security concept based on own IoT secure element solution aimed at protecting numerous vulnerable data-endpoints. This solution acts just like a new generation SIM or ID-card for machines, such as communication equipment or sensors, and is based on industrial standards.   The secure element supports different interfaces, such as ISO7816, SPI and I2C and can be available as an independent highly secure chip, software solution or FPGA-embeddable design.

During the trade fair Cellnetrix is going to do live demonstrations of secure solutions for IoT and smart energy markets:

• - CellSIM secure element for M2M LTE and various LPWA communication devices supporting GSMA embedded SIM specifications.
• -   Prototype of secure system for electric digital substations based on Cellnetrix Themis solution, which provides the energy equipment with integrated security. The prototype includes security module itself, access control software for the staff and a number of other components.

For connected embedded systems with higher demands for security Cellnetrix CellSIM provides a secure mechanism for the remote firmware update. Such updates neither affect previously downloaded applications nor their data. In addition, it implements a miniature Java virtual machine, which can run on small power-constrained devices such as IoT edge devices, smart cards and wireless sensors.
