Cellnetrix announces a new milestone for its CellSIM Operating Sytem

November, 19^th, Paris. Cellnetrix announced today that its CellSIM operating system has reached a new market adoption milestone: the number of commercially supplied SIM-cards with embedded CellSIM OS for 2 consecutive quarters of 2013 has exceeded 10 mln. pieces quarterly.

CellSIM is a family of smart card operating systems based on Java Card and fully compliant with most international and industry standards such as ISO, Global platform, 3GPP and ETSI.

CellSIM Operating System is commercially available on 3 different semiconductor platforms: Samsung ARM SC100, STMicroelectronics ARM Cortex M3, Starchip Cortus APS3s and their derivatives. Customers are able to select among several chip suppliers and source directly from silicon manufacturers and their distributors.

The main business model of Cellnetrix is based on technology licensing approach which provides a high level of flexibility for different industry players. Smart card technology license includes a full set of product configurations, software tools and documentation. At the moment commercialized configurations vary from conventional 3G USIM 64K to advanced 256K USIM LTE products.

In addition, Cellnetrix offers a full technology escrow via an internationally acknowledged partner.

Technology licensing agreements are combined with support and maintenance contracts ensuring high level of technical support and evolution of the operating system based on an agreed road-map.

Customers looking for volumes, from small to moderate, up to a few hundred thousand pieces, may order them from the company directly. Higher volumes are available from Cellnetrix channel partners or chip manufacturers

CellSIM OS samples are available in several form factors such as wafer, 6 contact COB module, QFN8 chip module or standard (2FF), mini-UICC (3FF) or nano-UICC (4FF) test card.

Our participation at M2M Innovation World Congress,Nice, Côte D'azur, 24th-27th September 2013

Cellnetrix will participate in M2M Innovation World Congress and associated World Smart Week 2013 Exhibition taking place in Nice, Côte D'azur, 24th-27th September 2013 and invites all partners to visit the well-known smart card event.

During these days all visitors will have a chance to attend four high level conferences (NFC World Congress, World E-ID Congress, M2M Innovation World Congress and Chip-to-Cloud Security Forum) and to discover a 1350 sqm exhibition place with 50 exhibitors presenting their latest contactless, e-ID, M2M and security solutions and showing their live demos.

The show is a great opportunity to share experience with experts and leading professionals and to be in touch with the latest developments in the smart card and embedded security industry.

I will personally speak at the joint session of M2M Innovation Congress and Chip-to-Cloud Security Forum and focus on features embedded security element can bring to M2M communication devices besides the conventional network authentication.

Cellnetrix at 21st Smartex Summer Meeting

Cellnetrix participated at 21^st Legendary Smartex Summer Event which took place on Monday, 15th July at the Windsor Guildhall, Windsor, Berkshire.

Smartex Limited operates an international network of professional associations concerned with smart card and RFID technologies, and the UK commercial payment card market. World membership exceeds 300 companies in the UK, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Central Eastern Europe regions. 

Agenda of annual 21^st Summer Meeting covered such topics as biometrics, NFC and security in payments industry and M2M.

My presentation was focused on different aspects of M2M device domain security and the role of embedded UICC as a secure element.

Presentation is available to all Smartex members and delegates on the Smartex website and also downloadable in the reduced version from the company’s web site. 

Finally a new website launched

Cellnetrix is pleased to announce the launch of a new version of the official web-site (www.cellnetrix.com) designed to help the customers and the market players to learn more about the current situation in the field, company’s recent affairs and its products.

The idea behind the development of a new website version was to create a site which would conform to the highest standards of modern Internet technologies.We used our best endeavors and skills to make it easier and more comfortable for our Clients to learn about our products, search for information and deal with our company.

For your convenience, we have considerably changed the design and the structure of the website – now the improved interface provides an easier navigation through the site’s sections. The new site allows the users to get a detailed specification of any products provided by Cellnetrix, to download presentations containing information either about the company and its history or its latest researches and development and to ask our specialists any question by filling an online form.

Cellnetrix aims to provide the best service for both Russian and foreign customers. By now, the site is available in English, but the Russian version will be soon presented. We seek for a constant development and knowledge to design new products and update existing; that’s why we would be much pleased to give you the most recent information about our company and our products, which is now much easier to get with our new website.
